An action-packed day filled with music, celebrations and cake!
On Friday 16th December, we held an event to thank our wonderful Volunteers for everything they do. Their support and generosity enables our teams at Petrus to deliver services to help individuals move away from Homelessness.
Special thanks to Councillor Rachel Massey and The Learning Foundry for joining in the fun. And a huge thank you to Jayne Taylor of Two Brews for providing delicious cakes for everyone to enjoy, and Tier 1, who gifted laptops to all Project 5 graduates to enable them to continue their education journey.
We also congratulated the latest cohort of Project 5 graduates.
Project 5 is a free training programme for people who have faced homelessness, inequality or who have not had access to opportunities they need to succeed.
With our partner The Learning Foundry, the group completed a range of training modules from time management to basic food prep.
All skills included within the programme aim to increase confidence and employability - breaking the cycle of homelessness and empowering participants to recognise their potential.
All the participants who attended the graduation had the opportunity to don their cap and gown to receive a certificate marking their completion of the Project 5 programme.
