We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve been selected to take part in the Co-op Local Community Fund, giving us an opportunity to raise money to help people experiencing homelessness.
But we need your help!
The amount of funding we’ll receive all depends on the number of people who choose us to support.
And it’s so easy to get involved.
Between now and 23rd October 2021, just by shopping and selecting us online or in store at Co-op, you can make a difference to the lives of rough sleepers and those in housing need... all while getting some money back yourself!
Every time members buy selected Co-op branded products and services, 2p for every pound spent goes to you and they'll give the same to support your selected cause.
Many of us will walk by the rough sleeper sat outside a store, unsure of what to do to help, but this is your chance to help them.
The first of the funding is due to be shared with us in March and so far only £54 has been raised… but YOU can change that.
Here’s how:
1. Become a Co-op Member
Sign up online at coop.co.uk/membership or by downloading the Co-op app
(If you’re already a Co-op Member then fab, you’ve already completed step one!)
2. Select Petrus Community
Choose us when doing your shopping at the Rooley Moor Road (OL12 7EA) and Cutgate (OL11 5AQ) Co-op stores or through our unique link https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/50721 if online.
If you’re a Co-op member shopping in other areas or stores, you can still nominate us as your chosen charity! Either use our unique link online https://membership.coop.co.uk/causes/50721 or contact Co-op’s customer support on 0800 0686 727 and have your membership number at the ready!
