Staff from Petrus Hub made the most of a sunny day to take part in our ‘Walk a Mile, Change a Life’ challenge.
Sharon, Chris and Edmund completed their mile by walking through scenic Rochdale, going into Broadfield Park and past the stunning neo-gothic Town Hall.
They took the opportunity to attempt a socially distanced homage to The Beatles’ famous ‘Abbey Road’ photo, snapping shots on the crossing there.
Staff working from home also joined in remotely, including Sam who also took a pic while crossing during her mile walk.
Edmund, who is the Service Manager at Petrus Hub, said: “As a team we are proud to work for Petrus and enjoyed the opportunity to support the awareness and fundraising that the ‘Walk a Mile, Change a Life’ campaign is achieving.”
Our ‘Walk a Mile, Change a Life’ challenge is raising funds to help us to continue supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our community experiencing homelessness or in housing need.
It only takes three simple steps to take part:
1. Complete a mile e.g. by walking, cycling, however you prefer!
2. Donate to Petrus over on our Virgin Money Giving page here or send a cheque payable to Petrus Community to our Head Office.
3. Tell us you’ve joined in by tagging us on our Twitter or Facebook and share why you walked for Petrus!
