Hundreds of children in Rochdale will wake up to little or no presents on Christmas morning. YOU change that.
We’ve partnered with Rochdale Social Services again this year to give disadvantaged children a gift this festive period.
Over the past four years, we’ve gifted more than 1,000 presents to children aged 2 to 16 years old. Last year, we donated almost 200 gifts to children in Rochdale. This year, hundreds of children will receive little or no presents at Christmas. So we need your help more than ever.
How can you help?
Rochdale Social Care gives us details of children in need. We write the gender and age of each child onto a gift tag, you pick a tag off the tree and buy a present for between £5 and £10. Trees are located at:
- Petrus Community Store, Hamer Lane, Rochdale OL12 7JJ - return your gift unwrapped by the 10 December
- NatWest, Town Hall Square, Rochdale, OL16 1LL – return your gift unwrapped by 8 December
- M&Y Maintenance and Construction, The Bold Business Centre, Bold Lane, Saint Helens, WA9 4TX - return your gift unwrapped by 6 December.
If you haven’t got time to buy the gift yourself, you can donate between £5 and £10 at the Petrus Community Store and we will purchase a gift on your behalf.
