We want to say a massive congratulations to two members of the Petrus team for reaching significant length of service milestones recently!
Edmund Clout, who is the Service Manager at Petrus Hub, celebrates his 20 year anniversary working for our homelessness charity.
He said: “It has been an honour to work for Petrus for all this time. The organisation was founded on principles of charity and help for the most disadvantaged, and it has continued to express those values as the services have changed and evolved over the years.”
Jane Whitworth, Housing First Worker, hit her decade milestone in May this year.
Jane commented: “The past 10 years have given me so many good memories, we have been able to help so many people and families to have a better life. Knowing the difference we can and have made to the people we support gives me so much job satisfaction. Petrus has been wonderful to me; I have been challenged and supported throughout with plenty of opportunity to grow.”
To thank Petrus and mark this special anniversary, Jane is taking on a new challenge…
In August 2020, Jane will be taking to the skies for a sponsored wing walk and raising money for Petrus!
