We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Monksdown Primary school to deliver a unique and exciting fundraising event!
Over 100 pupils from the school will be taking part in Petrus’s first ‘Sleep out to help out’ event, which will task them with spending a night at their school and teach about the challenges faced by homeless people.
Petrus Fundraising Officer, Colin Manford said: “We’re really excited to be working with Monksdown Primary on this fundraising event. There are so many misconceptions about homelessness and homeless people, and we think it’s important that children understand the real causes and challenges. Together, we can instil the next generation with compassion, understanding and motivation to end homelessness for good!”
We were introduced to the school by Positive Footprints, who are also part of the Regenda Group. Over the course of the year, we'll be working together to roll this opportunity out to more schools in their network, helping more children understand homelessness and become inspired to create change in their futures!
The funds raised at this event will be shared between Petrus and the school.
If you can support these children as they take on this amazing challenge please donate to their enthuse page, here.
