We support all women to feel empowered to make their own decisions and live safely.
On White Ribbon Day and always, we believe that all women are equal and have the ability to overcome trauma, flourish in society and achieve their goals.
White Ribbon Day asks communities, organisations and businesses to say no to violence against women. In the words of one of our service users: “It is good that people are talking about domestic violence.”
We offer support to all women across Rochdale, providing a safe space to come together, make new friends and get help if needed. We offer health and wellbeing sessions every week and on the last Thursday of every month, we are joined by sexual health nurses who are there to support and advise on all sexual health matters.
We have sanitary products, condoms and toiletries available to take without judgement.
In support of White Ribbon Day, our female service users created powerful artwork and promised to never commit, excuse or remain silent about male violence against women.
