Winter Workshops at PIER

Looking to spend more time in nature in 2025? Don’t wait until spring! We’ve got a range of fantastic weekly activities running from our community allotment PIER.

 

Wednesday 29th January, 12:30pm – 3pm

Nature weaving using materials found on the allotment, scrap wool and fabric.

Wednesday 5th February, 12:30pm – 3pm

We’ll be learning how to make Jamdelier paint pots and hanging bird feeders, followed by a bird watching session.

Wednesday 19th February, 12:30pm – 3pm

Making plant signs in wood, gardening planning and a ‘five ways to wellbeing’ check in for 2025.

Weekly from Wednesday 5th March – Wednesday 16th April

Join us to learn about growing food for all.

 

No need to worry about the rain! When the weather is bad, we take our activities into a meeting room in the Croft Shifa Medical Centre building next door.
